Sara Hardy

Sara Hardy grew up in the UK and now lives in Melbourne, Australia. She's the author of two biographies: 'The Unusual Life of Edna Walling' and 'Dame Joan Hammond: Love and Music'. It took her five years to research and write her debut novel - 'A Secretive Life' - a labour of love for the LGBTQ+ community in recognition of our history. Sara is also a playwright and originally trained in Drama and Dance at Dartington College of Arts, UK, subsequently working with various gay and feminist theatre companies as actor and/or writer in Britain and Australia. She enjoys riding her bike, gardening, curling up with a good book - and having a good coffee with friends - and Melbourne makes good coffee - and good friends!
