Dr. Mary L Dodson

Dr. M. L. Dodson is a full professor at Amarillo College. She also teaches classes at Wayland Baptist University. Her dissertation title, “20th Century Philosophic Expressions in Literature and Film,” reflects her life’s primary intellectual concerns: the way individuals—and narratives—view and reflect ideologies.

She has previously published works in academic journals such as “Tennyson and the Crisis of Belief” and “Capturing C. S. Lewis’s ‘Mere Christianity.’” She speaks at local churches, conferences, and seminars on topics ranging from “Lessons from Abolitionists” to “The Consequences of Postmodernism.”

She stays busy teaching, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and a most loving family.
