Bronwen Tate writes poems and essays that have appeared in The Rumpus, Bennington Review, Contemporary Literature, and elsewhere. She lives in Vancouver, BC and teaches in the School of Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. Bronwen earned an MFA from Brown University and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. Her work has been supported by Stanford’s DARE (Diversifying Academia Recruiting Excellence) Dissertation Fellowship, as well as by fellowships from the Stanford Humanities Center and Vermont Studio Center.
