Aida has been involved in different church ministries for over 20 years now and with God's blessings, hopes to continue. She is dedicated to serving as a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion, as a Mass Coordinator and as a Lector. She is also involved in the homebound ministry to visit and pray with the residents, administer communion to Catholic members; and at scheduled times, plays the piano to entertain them. In addition, she is serving as a Third Order Trinitarian in the State of Maryland.
Aida is a religious and a spiritual writer. She is the author of four Christian books titled: (1) Christ, My Passion, (2) A Time for God, (3) Prayers to Jesus, and (4) Lent Prayers and Meditations: A day-by-day devotional guide. This fifth book, Love and Live the Contemplative Way: A simple spiritual guide for Christians is a response to the current needs of our time, that is the enlightening of our consciousness in order to be transformed and be led to a new life as contemplatives, united, with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Aida has two children and three beautiful young grandchildren. Besides reading books, she also likes to paint. She has been on retreats and pilgrimages to experience and learn the history of the holy lands to see the culture of our spiritual fathers and mothers, and to walk where some of the saints who have encountered Jesus had set their foot on.
