Joedy Barnes

Joedy started looking for books for his children, and realized the need for more black stories. Not only black authors, but black characters, black stories, black families, and most importantly, black representation of history. It’s extremely important for his son and daughter to know they are awesome just the way they are. Malcom Explains seeks to share how awesome we are, how awesome our history is, and how awesome our people are. The entire book series is based on promoting that awesome and with your help, he hopes that the Malcom Explains Family can grow to include your household, as well.
