I love to write, but I have not always loved to read. I have a passion for intriguing young readers with stories which will capture their imagination and cause them to develop a deeper love and appreciation for reading. I had challenges reading as a child and a young teen. Illustrations pulled me into books. So today, I am certain to ensure every illustration in my books touch the heart of whoever is reading it.
