T. F. Buxton

T. F. (Tom) Buxton is a delivered alcoholic whom God saved from suicide, at age twenty-five, two weeks after marrying his wife, Susi. He joined Alcoholics Anonymous, and for thirteen years he and his wife held Bible studies and prayer meetings in their home.

After a five-year stint at a ministry center in northern Minnesota, they returned to Wisconsin, where Tom eventually started his own cleaning business. For seventeen years he volunteered in jail ministry, conducting Bible studies and discipling inmates. He then served as jail chaplain for an additional four years. At age seventy-eight, Tom retired as a skills trainer for the mentally challenged.

Mentoring has been a lifetime focus of Tom’s ministry, and he continues to hold Bible studies and prayer meetings in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin.

Tom and Susi have two children, a grandchild, and a great grandchild. They live in Appleton, Wisconsin.
