S. K. Wenger

With degrees in science and many adventures in the outdoors, S. K. Wenger strives to ignite wonder in her stories and feels extra sparkly when they pivot on humor. Her publications include CHICKEN FRANK, DINOSAUR!, leveled readers (CATERPILLAR CAN’T WAIT, FARM STAND MYSTERY, INTO BLACK BEAR COUNTRY, etc.), and poems in Babybug and Cricket. Her work has been honored with a fellowship grant and recognized in various contests. She currently serves at the Writing Barn and a teacher of high school science.
