A Florida Native, Jennifer Potter began her career as a hip-hop wardrobe stylist working with award-winning directors such as Hype Williams and Gil Green. Jennifer has had the opportunity to dress some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B.
After six years of dressing and styling in Miami, Jennifer decided to venture into the world of fine jewelry. When her grandmother, Jennie Potter, passed away she left Jennifer her lifelong collection of jewels. One day Jennifer came up with an idea to melt all of her grandmother's pieces and created designs that would honor her legacy. Without any financial back and only a box of precious mementos, Jennifer launched the Jennifer Potter Collection.
In the Fall of 2017, her collection caught the eye of the Business Insider for her Keep Going campaign which later turned into a collection of memoirs Jennifer self-published. Keep Going memoirs of strength, courage, and perseverance showcases the stories of eight powerful American women. Potter also published, Keep Going, Tiny! and Color Me Key West.
Today, Jennifer brings her love of writing and creating to the pages of her next book Dicks N Diamonds. She resides in Key West, Florida with her three rescued pups.
