Tumi Adegoroye

About the Author

Tumi Adegoroye is a writer and poet based in Canada. She grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and holds a BA degree in is a Sociology & Communication Studies from McMaster University.

Her work focuses on love, internal joy, society, womanhood, race, symbolic interactionism, transformation and wellness.

She began writing at the age of 14 on culture, personal growth and self.

Some of Tumi’s work has been featured in Canadian magazines and she has also made an appearance on CreativeMornings Toronto (2021).

‘For Us, The Romantic’ is Tumi’s second book of poetry.
