A Michigan native and Northwestern graduate served in the United States Coast Guard as a Machinery Technician (MK). His debut book LZ Sitting Duck: The fight for FSB Argonne with John Arsenault details the accounts of 1st Battalion 4th Marines Operation Purple Martin’s actions on March 20th, 1969, in the northwest corner of South Vietnam. Released April 29th, 2021, by Liberty Hill Publishers the book describes firsthand accounts of the fight for FSB Argonne told by Marines from both infantry, aviation enlisted and officer's perspectives.
