Pauline Thompson

Pauline Thompson was born in South Yorkshire, in the United kingdom in 1961. She wrote and published her debut poetry collection 'Say What You Feel' in August 2020. This is a book of heartfelt poetry, with many poems depicting the world we live in today, and memories of years gone by. There are many humorous poems within the book, and you will be taken from tears to laughter at the turn of a page. Some of Pauline's poetry has been featured on BBC Radio Sheffield. Pauline will be publishing her memoir in December 2021.

On December 6th 2021 she published her memoir, Defying the Odds. This book tells the story of her life from childhood to present day.

From her stolen childhood, living with an abusive father, to struggling to come to terms with the loss of two people she loved dearly, Pauline has defied the odds.

Desperate to escape from the clutches of her abusive father, she was always optimistic that one day she would break free. However, the repercussions were ever-present.

Above all, it shows the importance of finding and following your own path in life, no matter what others may think or say.
