Marie Thresher

Marie V. Thresher is an artist who has been making Happy Friday Doodles™ every week for over seven years.

What started as a simple "Happy Friday" drawing evolved into an unexpected collection of art, photography, paintings, drawings, and sculptures that have now been published in two coffee table art books.

Marie graduated from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and works professionally as a 2D/3D animator, designer, and illustrator. Her work has been published in multiple books and broadcasted on national television and streaming services. Not limited to digital media, Marie has created variously-sized sculptures, taught painting/printmaking to young adults and children, and spoke as a guest to collegiate level classes.

When she's not involved in an art project, you can find her spinning on the dance floor.
