Dr. Lee is a graduate of the biomedical engineering program (ranked #1 in the U.S. for 30 years) and the school of public health (ranked #1 in the U.S. for 28 years) at Johns Hopkins University where he received bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. As a faculty member at Johns Hopkins, he trained hundreds of future healthcare leaders to be more data literate. Then as a leader at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (ranked #1 in the U.S. for 21 years), he applied advanced data analytics to scale evidence-based practices across the organization. Patients received more appropriate and precise care resulting in millions of dollars saved. In 2017, he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from Johns Hopkins University for his contributions to the American healthcare system. He is based in Washington D.C.
