Luck was on my side, to be born in Australia in 1952, it was akin to winning the biggest lottery in the world. The World Wars were over, I was a baby boomer and I had it all in front. I would be lucky enough to miss out on the Vietnam War. I would see man walk on the moon, the creation of transistors, silicon chips and a digital world. I would listen to the best music ever written, by some of the best musicians ever born. I would see changes in fashion from the down-right ugly to the most beautiful. I would see internal combustion motors in cars morph into driverless electric vehicles and I would witness medical miracles. Best of all, the science of quantum mechanics has brought about changes straight out of the pages of science fiction novels. That has opened a door to help find out, what I’m doing here in the first place.
I have an Electrical Trades background worked in the Electrical supply industry for over 40 years. My family has had a connection with Parramatta since about 1800. I have lived a basic Sydney suburban life and avoided the stepping-stones of strife. I planted a few trees as my houses turned to homes. I had a son and a daughter with the help of a wife, and I have authored a few books in my life. I am also blessed with grandchildren.
The self is just a droplet in the ocean of others, and only one lonely leaf in a forest. The only way to be remembered is to leave behind a droplet of inspiration, a leaf of thought or a written memory of both. As my days are now getting faster, I am grateful for the cause and effect granted by the ‘The Big Bangs’ master
