Noel Zamot

After flying in combat, testifying before Congress, and escaping arrest for exposing corruption, Noel Zamot decided to finish his novel. Personal experiences in cyberwarfare, space operations, and covert programs underpin his debut thriller “The Archer’s Thread,” winner of the Gold Medal for Popular Fiction at the 2021 Florida Book Awards.

Noel was a combat aviator and former commander of the US Air Force's elite Test Pilot School. He’s also an economic development executive who has testified twice in Congress, and a tech warfare expert who planned military space operations after 9/11 and developed methods to protect military jets against cyber attack. While at MIT he studied under Joe Haldeman, author of the "The Forever War" (winner of the Hugo Award), earning a coveted invitation to his advanced writing workshop. This singular experience lit the flame that continues to burn five novels later.

Noel currently advises the US Air Force on testing AI agents on military aircraft. He is an avid cyclist, a sailplane pilot, and aspiring coffee roaster. He lives in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with his wife.
