My debut novel Me and My So-Called Friends was written in a local Toronto coffee shop. A favourite among the middle school crowd – including the parental units as well, which stirred up many crucial conversations.

The Get Up Book is my second novel that contains a collection of short stories that explore unforgettable life lessons. Each tale is perfectly paired by a physical exercise that was created by movement therapist David Newton, followed by a few words of advice from a collection of mentors that have made an impact on our world.

When I'm not tip tapping on my keyboard, I am savouring the very best coffee I can find. But most importantly, I take care of myself and spend time with those that matter.

I could not accomplish the above without my education. Concordia University’s Communications Studies program is where I found my writing voice. Algonquin College’s Advertising program showed me that I could handle a generous workload along with demanding deadlines.

Born in Montreal and presently living in Toronto with my husband, Gordie, and our three children, Josh, Adam, and Olivia.
