RAJ BADHWAR

Raj Badhwar has over 30 years of hands-on leadership experience in Cybersecurity and IT. He is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) enabling their AI ecosystem. Before joining SPA, he served as the SVP and Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Jacobs Solutions, Field CISO at Oracle, SVP & Global CISO at Voya Financial, SVP & Global Head of Information Security at AIG, Director & CTO at BAE Systems Inc., VP & Global Head of Information Engineering and Operations at Bank of America, and Principal Engineer at AOL Time Warner.

Raj is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), an Oracle Cloud Certified Professional (OCP), and is FINRA licensed.

He has authored six books on cybersecurity and leadership: IT Collaboration by Design: Next Practices for Leadership and Trust, The CISO’s Next Frontier: AI, Post-Quantum Cryptography & Advanced Security Paradigms, The CISO’s Transformation: Security Leadership in a High-Threat Landscape, The CISO Guide to Zero Trust Security, The CISO Guide to Incident Response, and Generative AI: Strategies for Risk Management and Secure Implementations. He has also co-authored 14 security patents, presented at major global conferences, and has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Top CISO Award for six consecutive years (2021–2026), the C100 Top 100 CISO Award (2025), and the Security Leadership Award from the HMG Leadership Institute (2021 and 2025).

He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and serves on the CXO Trust Council of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Pace University’s Cybersecurity Advisory Board,
