Elisabeth Conway

I grew up in the Worcestershire countryside of the UK but became infatuated with Southeast Asia when I went there as a student of social anthropology. My basic grounding in people watching steered me towards documentary film making and various research projects in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. During that time, I began to collect information and ideas for a book. From this grew the idea to write a historical novel and having started, I realised it would most likely develop into a trilogy. The first one, A STRAND OF GOLD, was published in September 2021; the second, HOPES DARES TO BLOSSOM went live in August 2022. I am now working on book 3.
