Hadiyah Bobbitt's artistry began penning her first poem at age 7. Her work is in styles and genres as eclectic as her personality. She writes with humor and candor on the spoils of wars won with an empowered posture of faith and tenacity in life's inevitable tribulation.

A Brooklyn-Girl dubbed a soldier-in-stilettos for her warrior spirit — in her debut publication she gives a preview of a life that underscores survival is an event—resilience is a lifestyle.

Losing her sister to suicide fuels a passionate drive to touch hearts and minds of those suffering in silence. She uses her writing as an instrument of healing, with a deep desire to reach the world with words that soothe the weariest soul.

In early years, Hadiyah was an active spoken word artist. She has also had roles in television, film, voice acting, as well as supporting roles performing in the music industry.

An unfettered imagination and an insatiable wanderlust often takes her across the globe; zip-lining through rainforests in Central America one month and chasing waterfalls and Northern Lights in Nordic Countries in the next.

When home in New York, her heart's resting place is her church, Christian Cultural Center led by Pastors Dr. A. R. Bernard and Dr. Karen Bernard in Brooklyn, New York, with her spiritual sisters, choir family, and extended family.
