Doe Minguez originally planned on becoming an attorney. However, life had different plans. During her time in law school, she soon realized that being an attorney was not for her. As she explored other careers, she continued to work in the law field for seventeen years as a paralegal, while also working as a college professor in communications for eight years. It was her years as a paralegal and college professor that really helped her realize her love and passion for writing. Through that passion, her first novel, Torn, was born. Doe Minguez has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Speech Communication, a Post-Graduate Associate of Arts in Merchandise Marketing, and a Master of Arts in Human Communication. When she is not thinking of new stories to write, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
