Kate O'Brien

Kate O’Brien lives in South Yorkshire with her two teenage sons and four cats where she was born and raised. She taught in London for twelve years before moving back up to Rotherham to raise her sons.

She published her first novel, Driftwood & Amethyst in 2011. The Pixie Plot followed in 2016. She is currently working on her third children’s novel and outlining a thriller for an older audience.

She supports children’s and young adults’ personal writing through local charity and therapeutic events.
