Eric Gormley

Driven by helping others, Eric Gormley has found his way into education by working in specialized schools for individuals with severe behavioral challenges. Over the past 15 years, Eric has been devoted to helping children and teens that do not fit the mold for a typical classroom setting. His work helped to refine the “QUICK Room” which ultimately led to a significant reduction in suspensions for the students he served across multiple schools. His years of working as a Special education teacher led him to pursue a Master’ Degree in special education and a Board Certification as a BCBA. Eric’s passion is for enhancing community participation and the development and enrichment of social skills for individuals with special needs. This passion has compelled Eric to begin development for a private school for students with varying exceptionalities where they can receive a range of therapies and needed support not found in traditional schools. In addition to working in school settings, Eric works as a Behavior Analyst at Positive Behavior Support Corporation, an agency providing applied behavior analysis services to individuals with special needs across home and community settings
