Marc X. Carlos

Marc X. Carlos has been practicing criminal defense for over thirty years. He has tried in excess of 250 jury trials involving complex felonies and homicides. Marc has been lead trial attorney in twenty eight homicide cases and represented clients in death penalty homicide trials. Marc is the author of three thrillers, The Silence and The Dark (Moonshine Cove, 2018) and The Silence and The Death (Moonshine Cove, 2020). His new novel, The Apparition , the first in a three book series from Aethon Thrills was released April 2025.

Marc is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Santa Clara University School of Law. Marc lives and works in San Diego, CA.
