Kimberly Brooks

Kimberly is a poet that expresses love and life in simplistic language and imagery. She is a graduate of Elizabeth City State University. She teaches middle school language arts. Growing up in the small town of Ahoskie, North Carolina she turned to poetry and journaling to cope with feeling out of place and to stay out of trouble. She is happily married with two children, a cat named Leo and a dog named Noodle.
