Erika Martin

Erika Martin is an educator, author and mother to two Young Kings. She has worked in elementary education for 10 years with a degree in school leadership. As an educator, she noticed the need for more diverse texts in classroom libraries inspiring her to begin writing children's books. Her first book was inspired by a desire to encourage and empower her son and boys like him. She enjoys reading, running and eating pizza. When she is not writing, she is working on creating positive change for students however she can.
