Anthony A. Pina

Dr. Anthony A. Piña is a nationally recognized leader and consultant in online and distance education and educational technology. An experienced online course developer, teacher and administrator, he is the recipient of multiple awards for books, articles and service to the field of educational technology and distance education. He is author/editor of six books, including the award-winning "Leading and Managing e-Learning: What the e-Learning Leader Needs to Know" and "Lessons in Leadership in the Field of Educational Technology." He serves on the editorial/review board of four scholarly journals and, besides his books, has more than 80 scholarly publications.

Dr. Piña has served as a professional consultant to Fortune 500 corporations, small businesses, government agencies, community organizations and the U.S. Military. He has been a consultant to several universities and colleges across the U.S., helping them to establish, expand and improve their online learning programs.
