Lauren Stoker

Native Californian and survivor of U.C. Santa Barbara, LAUREN STOKER moved to New England for the thrill of skiing on ice and owning a snow blower. She lives in Massachusetts with her cat and Chief Shreditor, Sam. Lauren enjoys ranting about anti-environmentalists and the nightly news, and drinking fine British ales, or their reasonable, non-tariffed facsimiles. Since the tender age of 15, she has struggled with the written word (and sometimes won). Lauren’s short stories and non-fiction have been published in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.

Her book of satirical Christmas carol parodies, A MOST PECULIAR CHRISTMAS (Songs of [J]Oy or Mirth), written under Laurie Hall, was released in October of 2020.
