Born and raised in Southwest Detroit, A.W. Guerra is a retired US military officer and former airline operations and aviation security operations manager, as well as a retail store detective and an active writer.
"Motown: The Vampire Must Die" is his first foray into the world of fiction novels, but he's since co-authored a second novel, "First Strike: Loudoun County" (also available on Amazon), and is publishing its sequel "Second Strike: Danger Close," in May 2024.
As Shakespeare observed: "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players." Guerra believes it's his job to tell the stories of all the many interesting, dynamic and sometimes outrageous men and women he's come to know over the years, though in highly fictionalized form, partly to protect the innocent. He's just kidding about that last part. Maybe.
A.W. also donates a portion of every Kindle eBook and paperback sold to Wounded Warrior Project, Shadow Warrior Foundation, and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. The latter helps serve a town where the need is always great.
