Nicholas Shevelyov

Nick Shevelyov is the Founder and CEO of vCSO, a boutique cybersecurity advisory firm providing fractional vCSO

advisory, cybersecurity assessments, and executive placement services. He served as Chief Security Officer of Silicon Valley Bank for 15 years (2007–2021), where he built and led the global security program for the bank of the innovation economy. Nick advises cybersecurity product companies, PE/VC firms, and boards on security strategy, go-to-market, and compliance.

A guest speaker at industry events and a Forbes contributor on cybersecurity leadership, Nick holds an undergraduate degree in economics, an executive MBA, and CISSP, CIPP, and CISM industry certifications.
