Elena Pratt

Elena Pratt now lives in Locust Grove, Virginia with Ted, her husband and partner in this adventure of

life. But she was born in the historically steeped city of Worcester, MA. The only child of two

wonderfully eccentric parents, her childhood was filled with many exciting characters. She became

involved in community theater at age 11 and later attended Syracuse University for Musical Theater. She

has over thirty years of experience performing in musical theater, and after singing, dancing, and acting

her way into people’s hearts, she is trying her hand at art and writing.

During the pandemic, she lost her job and told her husband that she wanted to try her hand at art full

time and try to get her book published. A staunch supporter, Ted told her to “Go for it!” And that’s just

what she did. Artistic ability runs in Elena’s family. Her father was excellent at drawing and oil painting

from the time he was a teen and her mother was a renowned fabric artist.

In May of 2020, she launched her website www.PopArtByElena.com. Elena creates paintings on canvas as well

as hand painted decorative rocks. Always looking to expand, her images are now available on T-shirts,

tote bags, coffee mugs, acrylic pins and more.

In May 2021 her book, Conversations with Ted was published by Page Publishing. Now that the world is

beginning to open up again, Elena is looking forward to live art shows and promoting the book.
