Kenneth C. Morgan, PE, has been in the water industry since 1985. He has served in numerous positions from Civil Design Engineer responsible for the design and construction of water distribution system assets to District Supervisor charged with managing the day to day activities of field workers engaged in fire hydrant/valve O & M, main/service line repairs, water main installations, storage facility inspections, etc.
He also began managing wastewater collection personnel while employed at a number of service providers accountable for the consistent implementation, improvement, and monitoring of programs intended to enhance the employee responses to their customers.
Ken has authored the following water industry-related books; “Managing Water Main Breaks Field Guide”, AWWA, 2012, “Wastewater Operator Certification Exam Prep”-coauthored with David L. Russell, PE, AWWA, 2020, and “Developing Effective Standard Operating Procedures for Water Utilities”, Outskirts Press, 2021. He is currently working on “Determining the Effectiveness of Field Crews and Work Teams”, to be published later in 2021.
He currently serves in various volunteer capacities on several American Water Works Association committees.
