Ken Doyle

The humorous adventures of a train called Donal are catalogued in the debut books of children’s story book author Ken Doyle.

Ken decided to take the leap into writing children's books because of his little boy's love of trains.

‘Donal the DART’, 'Donal to the Rescue', 'Donal gets to Work' and 'Donal travels with Pride' are the first 4 books in a wider series of ‘DART Friends’ books that Ken is planning to write. 'Donal the DART: Love on the Line' and 'Donal the DART: The Rivals' will be published Summer 2023 before all books in the series will be published in a single edition collection of stories. The picture story books are aimed at child readers aged between 3 and 8 (Kindergarten and 3rd Grade).
