MR. MAC BIBLE: I began reading and role-playing the Bible verse-by-verse with my own 5 kids. I would read the scripture, act out the situation, and try to express what was happening in the Bible in each scene. When my team and I began illustrating the Bible verse-by-verse, I had these experiences in mind.

THE REAL BIBLE: At first, we thought our readers would want us to paraphrase the Bible verses to make the story more fun to watch. But, we quickly realized that nothing was better than bringing the real-bible verses to life. We also tried not to skip any verses, which sometimes was very challenging since many verses in the Bible are either violent, sexual or express evil. But to give everyone the "real" Bible, we knew we needed to illustrate the difficult verses too!

COLORING? Many of our pages are produced as line art drawings ready for coloring. But, you don't have to love coloring to enjoy reading the coloring pages along with the storyline. Your imagination is so powerful that you'll naturally fill-in-the-colors in your mind as you read.

PAPERBACK BLACK-N-WHITE: We allow you to download all of the full-color books and coloring pages to your phone or tablet for free at our website. However, the black-n-white paperbacks available from Amazon help you keep the Word of God at your breakfast table, coffee table, or in backpack to keep reading and imagining the scriptures multiple times per day. Also, the paperbacks make inexpensive gifts for students interested in reading and coloring an illustrated verse-by-verse Bible.

LARGE PRINT + PICTURES: We make the print large so you can read while still eating a big bowl of cereal. Also, many of us struggle with tiny-print Bibles, so the large print is easier on our eyes! We also decided to put the verses "inside" the pictures (not underneath the pictures) so that your eyes will be drawn to the text and visuals at the same time... thereby blending the experience.
