Curtis Greer

Curtis Greer is a 5th-6th Grade Math teacher in Southern CA. His classroom motto is "Engaged Learning Happens Here." Curtis is a Christian, a father, a teacher, a soccer coach, a hiker, a burrito lover, and a Lakers fan.

Curtis became interested in creating challenging, student-centered Math Stories after years of watching his students suffer through boring "Word Problems" about pizzas, marbles, and CDs.

Curtis' Math Stories invite students into engaging scenarios and asks them to think critically to achieve real-world results. The scenarios might not be likely (joining their school's Alligator Wrestling Team, for example), but they are of high interest to 5th-8th grade students.
