Amy Leput Strahl

Amy Leput Strahl’s youth was spent in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA where her year with Blackie occurred. From an early age, she was keenly observant and a student of Mother Nature. Being merely watchful wasn't enough; she craved the understanding of what she witnessed. Thus, her love of reading began.

She has two degrees in education and spent decades teaching. Although she is now retired, she freely imbues bits of knowledge to willing and unwilling recipients.

She and her husband, of nearly five decades, Robert, reside in Maryland.
