Yvette C. Latunde

Dr. Latunde is a Professor in the Doctor of Organizational Leadership program and Co-Director of the LaFetra College of Education Center for Educational Equity and Intercultural Research (CEEIR) at the University of La Verne.

Her research focuses on Diverse Family Engagement, Parent Councils, and Strategic School & Community Partnerships for student success.

Dr. Latunde is a highly sought-after speaker on topics related to Black Student Success, Community Partnerships, Parent Advisory Councils, and Equity in the Classroom and in Family-School Initiatives. Her work has been featured on Epoch Education, and The Leading Equity Podcasts. Some of her empirical work can be found in the Journal of Negro Education (Howard University).
