Paul O'Neill

Paul O’Neill is a horror writer with more than fifty published short stories. Those works have appeared in the No Sleep Podcast, Scare Street, Sinister Smile Press, Crystal Lake, and many other publications and competitions, including several ‘best of’ anthologies.

His stories are set in fictional small towns in Scotland and focus on working class themes, addiction, family situations and more (plus the occasional monster or ghoul). He is the author of The Nightmare Tree, With Dust Shall Cover, and Mother Death.

He runs Short Story Club on Substack where he and over 200 readers analyse the classics on a regular basis. He lives in Fife, Scotland. He invites you to join them (it's free!).
