Munier Hossain is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and author of Making Sense of Medical Statistics. He has been teaching statistics and evidence-based healthcare for over a decade and has authored several book chapters on medical statistics for trainee doctors. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a member of the editorial board of Bone and Joint Journal 360, and a content editor of the Bone and Joint Journal. He holds an MSc in evidence-based healthcare from the University of Oxford, UK. As much as he loves teaching he also thoroughly enjoys fixing broken bones and delights in gardening and hiking in his spare time.
