Marna J Smith

I am an Early Childhood Education Professional with a BS in Religion and an AS in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in the same town I live in now, but traveled some with my husband who is retired from the US Navy; besides being home, Japan and Florida were my favorites. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children ages 0-19 in many different learning environments; public schools, daycares, preschools, sports teams, Sunday school and youth groups. My oldest son suffered a tragic accident in 2016 at 20 years old and now lives at home with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury. I am now a self proclaimed author and wrote my 1st children's book about helmet use and brain safety, for the teacher in me chooses to use every opportunity as a teaching moment and this teaching moment is huge!
