James Carson

James Carson is the author of the Crossfire series, a provocative blend of ambition, power, organized crime, love, and human desire set within the volatile world of professional sports.

A lifelong sports fan with interests spanning baseball, football, golf and soccer, just to name a few, Carson was inspired to write the series after questioning long-standing conventions within the game of soccer and why some of the game's most traditional rules have remained unchanged for centuries - an idea that led to the creation of the radically different, fictional league at the center of Crossfire.

Drawing on a background in law and finance combined with his long-standing interests in sports, current affairs, and both political and criminal power structures, he writes under a pen name and divides his time between research, private projects, and writing.
