Neil Stewart McLeod

Born in Oxford and raised in Kenya, Doctor McLeod came to America to continue his study of dentistry as a Fulbright Scholar. He lives in Los Angeles in California, and has been writing for over fifty years, professional dental articles, dance books, poetry - a lot of it, and more recently stories for children. His poem “The First Thanksgiving” is a popular seasonal favorite, and now is available in its own cover. “The Legend of the Giant Ngong” captures the mystique of a childhood spent in the tropics and is a traditional African tale.
