I retired from the UK National Health Service in 2011. Not wishing to spend the rest of my retirement watching daytime television, I decided that I had to do something. At that time, my stepson was a coach driver and about to start his own business. There was my opportunity. I decided to take a coach driving course. Since that date in 2012, I have been driving children to and from school every morning and afternoon.

Although I'm happy driving a school bus, I was looking for a different venture. How about writing a book I thought. But what could I write about? I trawled through the book section on Amazon for some inspiration. That's where I thought about my book. Having given many speeches over my 46 year career, I decided this would be the book I would write.

Not having much of an idea how to go about it, I joined an organization called Amazon Profits. The owner and creator of the program was a guy called Christopher John Payne. His expertise and knowledge helped me through the process, and my book Prepare Produce Present was born.

I hope you enjoy reading it and find the information useful if you are going to make a speech at an event. My experience may even inspire you to write a book about a subject you know well.
