Eva Bernhard

Murder for all seasons. Secluded islands, storm and snowbound lodges, village streets, or urban niches — murder knows no bounds.

I’m Eva Bernhard, an independent Canadian mystery author and former philosophy professor. My atmospheric crime novels feature sharp-eyed investigators, tangled motives, and deadly secrets.

Sleuths include philosophy professor Agnes Taylor, true-crime editor Louise Penfold, and AI consultant Hugo Finch. Reluctant they may be, but curiosity and a sense of justice drive them on, straight into the killer’s path.

The novels are available in multiple formats, including Large Print.

When not writing, I’m exploring trails and beaches at home in Atlantic Canada with my mischievous Aussiedoodle.
