Thank you for visiting my author’s page. Ich danke ihnen für ihren Besuch auf meiner Autorenseite.
After raising four sons with my amazing wife, I had the opportunity to study and write about what I was interested in. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in English and German Studies in 2016 and studied intensive German at the Goethe Institute in Göttingen, Germany the following summer. My professional life gave me the opportunity to visit Germany often. It was there that I spiritually connected with my roots.
Although I’ve lived most of my adult life in Florida, I will always be an Iowan. From birth until the age of nineteen, my family and the fine people there showed me what it means to live peacefully in community. My goal as an author is to use my Iowa sensibilities and Christian worldview to tell stories that thrill and entertain, while espousing the dignity and adventure of a life lived morally.
My first young-adult novel, Through the Oval Lens, is based on a story I told our kids many years ago, as we drove through the Appalachian Mountains. It took me ten years to start the book and another ten weeks to finish. I published the work in July 2021.
I’ve already knocked out several chapters of my next book. I so look forward to sharing it with you.
Until then, cheers! Bis dann, tschüss!
