Jamie Lawrence

Jamie was born in New Zealand and now resides in Sydney.

He was inspired to write the Flick and Friends series when telling bedtime stories to his then three year old daughter Madeline - hence the Flick and Friends series is based in a town called Maddsville.

After tremendous success with the Flick series through Penguin Publishing, Jamie has now released this series through Amazon for all to read.

Jamie is also the writer of the award winning musical "Aotearoa - A New Zealand Rock Musical."

In this latest release Jamie and Mark Russell put the band back together for a Christmas gig. Mark has beautifully illustrated Santa's Reindeer - A Christmas Tale in a contemporary style that abounds with the visual absurdity that most children enjoy.
