Dash Starkey

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Dash Starkey melds imagination with personal experiences to create lively stories. Paying homage to the state of Queensland, with most having a home base of Brisbane, the stories have a personal feel, even when the characters travel the world.

Dash mulls over a novel started over 25 years ago, along with other works in the pipeline. Free time is spent between writing and van life. Dash’s two greatest passions outside of family. Travelling with Elle in an old Toyota Hi-ace called Howie, Dash has many more adventures, and disasters, to divulge.

Backed by years of experience as a technical writer Dash Starkey has written articles for several magazines across the world, including Mountain Biking Australia, Australian Cyclist, Guitar (US), Bass Guitar (US) and Game Informer. Articles have also appeared in trade magazines and international inhouse magazines.
