Dr. Ravinand Howal

Born on July, 08, 1973, Dr. Ravinand Howal, the author of 18 books and hundreds of articles till date, is basically a Computer Engineering graduate and ex-government employee. He had completed his "Diploma in Journalism" in year 2001. He hadn't stopped there! He completed his M.A. and Ph.D. in “Political Science” through one Open university and one regular university. He also have completed MBA in "Human Resource", from an Open university. He also has passed both state level and national level eligibily tests applicable for the Professors, in Political Science.

Dr. Howal has resigned his technical type of job from MSEDCL, when the BARTI (Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute at Pune, which is affiliated to the Social Justice department of Maharashtra State in India) selected him as a “Project Director” on the “Aatrocity Prevention” cell.

He had left his government job looking at the opportunity to work in the socio-political field! Unfortunately, the BARTI authorities hadn't given him a chance to join their organization. He, therefore, faced unemployment for about four years! Later he joined one College as a non-permanent or "part time" Professor of “Political Science”!

“Prevention of Atrocities on the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes: An Evaluation”, was the topic chosen by him, for his Ph.D.

Dr. Howal is the ex-editor of the monthly views-paper “Republican Opinion”. He is also the ex-editor of “Purogami Mitra” the meaning of which is “An Enlightened Friend”. He is now going to start a new views-paper named "Bhim Bharat". "Bhim" is the original name of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and "Bharat" is another name of India.

Dr. Howal has founded a “Brotherhood Party of India” after his resignation of the government job and "non acceptance" by BARTI. His party could not succeed much, because of the lack of resources!

He now works through the "Bhartiya Bandhuta Sangh", "Samvidhan JanJagruti Abhiyan" and "Shoshan Mukta Bharat Abhiyan", which are are initiated by himself. Meaning of these three is- "Union for Brotherhood of the Indians", "Mission for awakening, based on the Constitution" and "Mission for Exploitation-free India".
