Clair Rossiter

Clair Rossiter is an illustrator from Sutton, London.

She studied Illustration at Falmouth University in Cornwall and graduated in 2014. Since then, Clair has worked on a variety of projects in greetings and licensing, children's publishing and editorial. She especially enjoys map-making, hand lettering and food illustration.

Clair's work is created using mixed-media, and always starts life in a big A3 sketchbook. She often uses gouache, ink and colouring pencils before collaging everything together digitally. Her desk is a precarious mess of paint pots and paper.

Clair has illustrated a range of books, including collaborations with KEW and Crayola. She also illustrated Nadiya Hussain’s ‘Bake Me a Story’ range with Hodder Children’s, which was released as a Special Edition World Book Day title in 2018.
