Ed Rabinowitz is a communications professional with more than 40 years of writing experience under his belt. He has served as Publications Manager and Eastern Public Relations Manager for Volkswagen of America, and Director of Marketing Communications for Continental Insurance, writing brochures, press releases, executive speeches, and material for various corporate publications. As a freelance journalist, Ed has written extensively in the healthcare, and personal finance and investing fields. His first book, "The Road to a Record", a work of non-fiction, chronicles the lives and experiences of the Northampton Community College women's softball team that set a record with 93 consecutive wins. His second book, “One More Dance,” chronicles a family’s courageous battle against brain cancer.
"Bloodline" is his most recent work, and first novel. Ed was adopted at birth, and spent decades searching for information regarding his biological roots. Through one DNA test, he connected with seven brothers and sisters, including one full blood brother, an aunt, nieces and nephews. "Bloodline" chronicles his journey through his eyes, as well as the eyes of his seven brothers and sisters.
Ed has served as Assistant Professor, Communication, at Lehigh Carbon Community College, teaching interpersonal communication, oral presentation, intercultural communication, and communication theory courses for 7-1/2 years, and now teaches part-time for LCCC, Penn State Lehigh Valley, and Cedar Crest College.
He earned his B.A. in Communication from Herbert H. Lehman College, and his M.C.I.S. in Communication from Rutgers University.
